It can be used with MÉRY blood glucose meter.The test strip operates on a capillary principle, allowing the use of other alternative locations in addition to the fingertip (eg upper arm, forearm, palm, leg).
The test is based on the measurement of the electric current generated by the reaction of the sugar with the reagent on the test strip. The strength of the current generated by the reaction is proportional to the concentration of sugar in the blood sample. The blood glucose meter measures the current and displays the corresponding blood sugar level.
